Apply to our undergraduate program

Before you can start earning your B.S. in Forensic and Investigative Sciences, you’ll need to apply to IU Indianapolis. You’ll have two options to enter the School of Science: through direct admission as a beginning or transfer student, or through University College after you’ve completed requirements.

Apply to our graduate program

In order to join us as a forensic and investigative sciences graduate student, you must meet the minimum admission requirements of the IU Indianapolis Graduate School as well as our school and departmental requirements.

Departmental and School of Science requirements

You must meet our minimum requirements for admission to the M.S. in Forensic and Investigative Sciences degree program:

• You must have a bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in any of the physical, life, or forensic sciences, such as chemistry or biology.
• You must submit two reference letters.
• You must submit a personal statement.
• If you are from a non-English speaking country, you must receive a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of at least 79.
