When you study physics in the School of Science at IU Indianapolis, you’ll be preparing for a potential career in areas such as:

Because you’ll develop a broad-based and flexible problem-solving background as part of your studies, you’ll be able to seek a career in a wide variety of fields—some of which are not directly associated with physics. As an undergraduate, you’ll have the unique opportunity to work closely with our faculty, culminating in a capstone experience in one of our research labs. As a master’s or Ph.D. student, you’ll work with a faculty mentor to perform research throughout your program.
