Behavioral Oncology Lab

Directed by Dr. Catherine Mosher, this lab works to develop, evaluate, and disseminate novel psychosocial approaches to improving symptom management and quality of life for people with cancer and their family caregivers.

Boehm Lab

Dr. Stephen Boehm and his research group are interested in adolescent drug and alcohol intake and its impact on brain and behavior.

CLASP Laboratory

Directed by Dr. Kyle Minor, the Cognition, Language, and Affect in Serious Psychopathology (CLASP) laboratory focuses on implementing innovative methodologies to measure and treat psychosis symptoms both inside the laboratory and in daily life.

Logrip Lab

Dr. Marian Logrip’s research lab focuses on stress-alcohol interactions in male and female brains, with a specific interest in how adaptations to stress impact the brain's response to alcohol.

RISC Lab

Directed by Dr. Melissa Cyders, the Risk-taking, Impulsivity, Substance Use, and Cognition (RISC) lab studies how impulsivity and its neurocognitive underpinnings influence a wide range of risk-taking behaviors.

WoW Lab

Directed by Dr. Peggy Stockdale, the Women in Work (WoW) lab conducts and disseminates research on gender issues in the workplace, with a particular interest in how intersectional identities interface with gender issues.

Derricks Lab

Dr. Veronica Derricks' research focuses primarily on understanding the psychological mechanisms that perpetuate disparities in health and academic outcomes.

Pain Research Laboratory

Our research is focused on the biopsychosocial aspects of pain and functioning in humans. Lab director: Dr. Adam Hirsh.

PRISM Lab

Dr. Tamika Zapolski’s PRISM (Prevention Research In Substance Use and Minority Health) Lab focuses on risk for substance use and other health behaviors among African Americans.

Cardiometabolic Behavioral Medicine Lab

The CBM Lab examines the role of psychosocial factors in cardiometabolic diseases – namely, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and obesity. Lab director: Dr. Jesse Stewart.
