The McBride Family Equity Scholarship was established by Bill and Karen Christensen, friends of the School of Science, IUPUI, and Indiana University. This scholarship supports full-time undergraduate students in the School of Science who are pursuing a major in a STEM discipline.

Recipients must be directly admitted to the School of Science or be currently enrolled in the school, have demonstrated financial need, and must have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Preference will be given to African American students who are also first-generation college students. The scholarship may be renewed for up to four years.
