Enjoy the perks of learning and living in downtown Indianapolis
The IU Indianapolis campus is at the center of it all in the heart of the Hoosier state. Indianapolis is one of the 20 largest cities in the United States. Known as the “Crossroads of America,” Indianapolis is also home to prestigious international companies like Eli Lilly, Roche Diagnostics, Dow AgroSciences, Rolls Royce, Cummins, and many more. We have partnered with many of these companies, giving our students opportunities to learn outside the classroom. Occupying 510 acres, the IU Indianapolis campus borders the Downtown Canal and White River State Park, two of Indy’s six cultural districts.
The Circle City is host to the Indianapolis 500, the Heartland Film Festival, Black Expo, Indy Jazz Fest, and more. Yet, the city is still small enough to showcase Hoosier hospitality with flavorful cultural districts and a strong sense of community pride.
