INDIANAPOLIS -- "We are very proud of these Top 100 honorees," said Dean Simon Rhodes. "They have taken full advantage of the integrated academic, research, leadership and community engagement opportunities that are uniquely found in the School of Science and at IUPUI."
With 41 students on this year's list, the School matches it record year in 2014. Last year, 12 of those were named among the Top 20 students on campus.
This year's Top 100 honorees will be recognized at the annual reception dinner on April 10. The Top 10 males, Top 10 females and Top Male and Female students will be named at that time.
The Alumni Council and SOAR sponsor the annual awards, which is in its 16th year. More than 2,100 nominations were received in 2015. A panel of alumni, faculty and staff select the top students based on nominations by faculty and staff. The students who were selected show strength in scholastic achievement, collegiate and co-curricular activities and civic/community service.
