The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Indiana University Indianapolis invites applications for a full–time Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, and Teaching Professor positions based on experience and expertise, to begin August 1, 2026. This is a full-time, 10-month, non-tenure eligible position.
We seek candidates with a proven record in teaching and student learning in introductory college mathematics courses, working with first-year college students to improve retention rates. Responsibilities include teaching 12 credits (3 or 4 sections) each semester, typically in intermediate and college algebra, and service to the Department as it relates to student success and retention.
Our department is one of the largest academic units on campus, serving more than 12,000 students each year.
The Department of Physics at IU Indianapolis invites applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Experimental or Theoretical Physics in the area of Quantum Sciences, to begin August 1, 2026.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in physics or a related discipline, demonstrate the ability to initiate and sustain an externally funded program of research, and be able to teach effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Researchers with a record of interdisciplinary research are encouraged to apply.

The Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences at Indiana University Indianapolis invites applications for a one-year term, full‐time, non‐tenure‐track position as a lecturer in Earth Sciences. The expected starting date is August 1, 2026.
We seek a lecturer who is committed to excellence in teaching and mentoring undergraduate students. An M.S. degree in Geology or Environmental Science is required, and a Ph.D. is preferred. Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience in quality teaching in undergraduate earth and/or environmental sciences. Candidates with experience teaching courses such as environmental geology, introductory oceanography, and science writing are especially welcome to apply. Interest and ability to mentor and coordinate graduate teaching assistants are essential. Experience with online teaching and course development are desirable.
A senior faculty member will serve as a mentor for the lecturer. Lecturers at IU Indianapolis also have opportunities to participate in professional development as well as engaging in department committee service.

The Department of Biology within the School of Science at Indiana University Indianapolis invites applications for a lecturer position to begin August 1, 2026. This is a full-time, 10-month, non-tenure eligible position.
Responsibilities may include teaching Anatomy and Physiology as the primary focus, including online and/or in-person labs. A typical one-semester teaching load is 11-12 credit hours each semester. Summer teaching opportunities may be available for additional compensation. Successful candidates will have a record of quality teaching. Dual Appointment – Department of Psychology in the School of Science, and School of Health and Human Sciences
The Department of Psychology and the School of Health and Human Sciences at Indiana University Indianapolis invite applications for a tenured associate or full professor position at the intersection of physical activity and brain/mental health.

The School of Science at IU Indianapolis invites applications for a full-time, non- tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Lecturer beginning August 1, 2026 in the area of forensic science.
This position is for in-person teaching at the IU Indianapolis campus. The academic home of the selected candidate will be in Biology or Chemistry and Chemical Biology with primary teaching and service responsibilities in the Forensic and Investigative Science (FIS) program.
The FIS program is a FEPAC accredited program. The FIS program offers B.S. and M.S. degrees with forensic biology and forensic chemistry concentrations and has started a new B.S. degree in digital forensics. Currently, the B.S. program has over 260 students and continues to grow annually at the rate of over 100 new students per academic term.
Applicants should hold at minimum a M.S. in Forensic Science, Chemistry, Biology or a related field from an accredited university by the date of appointment. The field of expertise and experience must include forensic science. Experience as a forensic science practitioner in either private or public forensic laboratories is highly valued but not required. Experience teaching courses at the university level is preferred.
