The competitive Health and Life Science Scholars Program is designed for beginning freshmen in the health and life science majors.
Contingent upon availability of funds, a Health & Life Science Scholar who is a beginning major my be supported for up to eight regular (Fall/Spring) semesters provided that the student continues in a degree program in a health or life science field and maintains an overall minimum GPA of 3.50. An applicant must be in the top 25% of their high school graduating class and score 1270 or higher on the SAT or 26 or higher on the ACT. An award recipient may hold only one scholarship funded by the School of Science.
