Interests & Expertise

Developing and implementing methods for improving success in introductory chemistry. Evaluating emerging educational technologies. Developing demonstrations of chemical phenomena. Designing and testing experiments for the undergraduate laboratory curriculum. Utilizing social media platforms in higher education contexts. Investigating, using, creating, and championing open educational resources (OER). Developing resources for engaging students in online course environments. Developing strategies for training and coordination of teaching assistants, including providing training in pedagogy, ethics, and issues of bias, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
