Peer advisors are upperclassmen Science students, who, through training and their own experiences here, can assist other School of Science students throughout their time at IU Indianapolis.
A science peer advisor can:
- Answer basic academic advising questions and refer as appropriate.
- Connect you to campus and academic resources based on your individual goals.
- Teach you how to use academic technology (degree maps, degree audits, course schedule and planning tools, etc.).
- Schedule an individual appointment with your academic advisor if needed.
- Help you navigate your first year curriculum.
