This dual degree program allows students to earn a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Bioinformatics in five years. The biology degree is awarded by the School of Science. The bioinformatics degree is awarded by the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering.

To pursue an accelerated B.S./M.S. degree, you will first be admitted to IU Indianapolis as an undergraduate biology student. You'll schedule time with one of our undergraduate advisors to review your plan of study. You will apply for the master's program during your junior year.
